ONE DAY ONLY - NOVEMEBER 28, 2023

For more information about this day of giving visit 209gives.org

Stockton Rowing Club provides  recreational rowing opportunities for individuals in high school and adults 18 and older. We row out of Riverpoint Marina at 4950 Buckley Cove, Stockton, California 95219.  We are in the process or rebuilding our club after the pandemic, hoping to grow all our programs back to former levels and bring back our competitive teams.  We are unique in that we teach both sweep rowing (each person uses one oar) for 8, 4 or 2 persons in a boat and sculling (each person uses two oars) for 4, 2 or 1 person in a boat.

Sweep rowing and sculling are both great exercises providing a total body workout. The sport's smooth, rhythmic, and impact-free motion provides aerobic conditioning, as well as strength conditioning, activating 85% of your body’s muscle groups. In fact, rowing is one of the few aerobic activities that can strengthen your back.

The mission of SRC is two-fold. First, to promote enjoyment and camaraderie among members in a team sport; and second, to provide instruction, training and participation in the science of oarsmanship, the art of rowing, and the promotion of personal fitness goals for both youth and adults.  Experienced SRC rowers have been certified by US Rowing as Level 2 coaches, adding expertise to our efforts to teach rowing to individuals.

Make a Donation

Small or large all donations are appreciated. Your dollars make a difference for many of our Junior Rowers in helping defer costs.  Donated dollars go to repairs and maintenance of boats and sculls, travel expenses to races, chase boat gas and upkeep, and boat house improvements.  We collect plastic for recycling, and have an annual fundraising dinner that anyone can contribute to or join in the fun.

Checks are always welcome and can be mailed to:
