Stockton Rowing Club provides both recreational and competitive sweep rowing opportunities for individuals aged 13 and up.
Our mission is two-fold; first to promote enjoyment and camaraderie among members and second, to provide instruction, training and participation in the science of oarsmanship, the art of rowing and the promotion of their personal fitness goals for both youth and adults.
We have: boats that seat 8, 4 and 2 sweep rowers (one oar),
also, Single, Double and Quad Sculling shells (two oars) plus a fleet of classic ergs (rowing machines) for member use.
The SRC Junior Program strives to develop skilled and competitive rowers through education and training. The sport of rowing teaches responsibility, self-discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork while building self-esteem and encouraging physical fitness.
Competition at local and regional regattas are based on readiness and availability of participants.
If you are between the ages of 13-18 years, have a competitive spirit and enjoy working together as a team, come and join us.
No experience necessary. We supply the equipment.
